Firstly, and most importantly, it was fantastic to see the team out together playing a game of cricket! It was a long wait but certainly worth it and I thought both teams put on a great match considering it was their first for very nearly a year.

Although Stoke Bishop edged it in the end there were certainly a huge amount of positives to take from the match (including some outstanding catches!) particularly the positive attitude and enthusiasm shown all the way through by all the players. There is also plenty to work on and we will start looking at those aspects on Wednesday when the children will have the opportunity to play against their teammates.

Thanks again for supporting our first match of the season and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Wednesday.

Thanks,
David.
